The Life Of Unwanted Jonases
Chapter 3
When we were in the news room, Alex pulled out her black sharpie and began drawing. Right when she finished, Principal Bannerman walked in.
"Jessica, shouldn't you be getting to class?" Bannerman asked.
"Oh, well, I was thinking of joining the news crew, so Alex said I could watch her work!" I lied, my stomach ached from the lie.
"Oh well, good job!" Bannerman said, sitting on his stool, signaling Alex to start the camera.
Laughter broke out in the nearby classes. I had to admit, Alex was an artist.
About 3 minutes into the newscast, Ms. Goode, the social studies teacher, walked in and turned on a T.V. to show Principal Bannerman what everyone was seeing.
"What is this nonsense?! The culprit, if found out, will have detention!" Bannerman shouted.
Alex turned off the camera.
"I shall find the "artist" who did this!" He shouted.
"Principal Bannerman, It was me. I drew it, and Alex helped." I confessed.
"Jessica, I am surprised at you. I can not believe I am saying this but, you have detention, for 2 months, every day after school. You too, Alexandria." He said and walked away.
"Hi-5!!" Alex grinned, shooting her palm in the air.
"You expect me to hi-5 you??!" You got me DETENTION!!! Jessica Denise Jonas DOES NOT get detention." I exclaimed.
"Well, Jessica Denise Jonas HAS detention along with I, Alexandria Ivette Jonas!" Alex replied.
After school, and... detention, we went home. My stomach did flips, as I wondered if we would get beat or not. Alex slowly turned the key and opened the door.
