Chapter 11
**Alex's POV**
Somehow, I couldn't bring myself to change out of my ballet shoes. I never practiced tap, and I never practiced jazz. All I could focus on was ballet. So relaxing. I practiced every dance I had ever learned. When I finished, Kevin was there.
Are you serious? He found me in the one place I thought he would never look.
"You were supposed to be home and finish your chores." He said angrily.
"Well, I come here to get away from you."
"You don't talk to me like that." He stated.
I couldn't hold in my hate for him any longer. I punched him, full force. He staggered back. I knew he would hit me back, but I didn't care.
He stood up, but only to head for the door.
"I'll go home when I'm ready, you asshole."
"Alex?" He spoke.
"What? I'm busy!" I exclaimed.
"You're a great dancer. I'm sorry I never knew." He said and left.
I sighed and danced. I slowed down, and finally stopped.
I stooped to his level, using violence to get my way. I had to talk to him. I ran outside, I knew I would mess up my ballet shoes, but this was more important.
"KEVIN!!! WAIT!!" I shouted. He was about to get into his car.
"Kevin, hold on a sec. Let's talk."
He didn't answer.
"Kevin, I'm sorry for hitting you, I was just so mad, all you've done is hit me so I stooped to your level. I'm just so tired of you beating me up and treating me like nothing. I'm your sister, you're supposed to love me and protect me, but you're just hurting me and ruining my life." I panted.
He turned around to face me.
"We'll talk about this at home, how about we get some McDonald's? My treat." He grinned.
I smiled back, sensing a change in abusive Kevin. "Alright. Let me get my stuff."
Soon, we were in the car.
"Since when were you a dancer?" Kevin asked.
"Since last year." I replied. "I had a friend take me and I realized dance was a great stress-reliever."
"My little sister's a little ballerina, aww!" He teased.
"Shut up." I said.
He's really growing up. I think I might like the new Kevin.
