New Site

Just to let folks know, the new site is nearly finished, there are just a few tidying up jobs to do on it.
I am away with the Army next weekend, but the weekend after that I will be giving everybody a url to try out the new system. The weekend after this I will replace this site with the new one and send out a newsletter.

Fanfics.org will be closing in one months time to be replaced with a new system that has been developed in secret.
Once this new system is in place I shall transfer all user data over to the new site, at which point I shall send out emails confirming your usernames registration.
Those that do not answer the emails within 1 month will have their user suspended for a period of 12 months at which point it will be archived and deleted from the live database.
If anybody has ideas for this new site while there is time for them to be added please email me at webmaster@fanfics.org.

Sorry about no updates having been done on the new site, this is because I am currently having to work 7 days a week; hopefully this situation wont last for long and I can get back on with the new site.

I apologise to everybody for my apparent absence, this is due to the holiday period and having been in hospital for a while.
I'll recommence work on the new site at the end of the month as I have alot of other internetting work to be doing.

Ok just a few more updates, the new site is well on its way now, I have completed enough sections of the forum to enable it to be classes as "working", though "dangerously and only just working" would be a better term.

Just to let people know, the Fanfics.org reborn site has moved to http://reborn.fanfics.org.
I've been working on it for a couple of hours today, just tying in things I have already written to the display sections of the program; go have a look, register for an account or something, just go wild! I must say though that anything submitted onto it in any way will be lost, as its just a test site at the moment. Right well I'm gonna go read a terry pratchett book, farewell!

Just a few updates, my new laptop hasnt arrived yet, dell are being bitches about stuff, I'll phone up and shout at them on monday if I'm in the mood; in the meanwhile I am using my sisters laptop that she has kindly leant me.
Over the weekend I shall be finishing some sections of the new site as I now have the means to, infact I plan to have the fanfiction posting, reading and management pages all completed by sunday evening.

Hello all, regretably my laptop, wallet and a number of other things were stolen on last tuesday, this means of course that I am computerless until my new one arrives at the door. I shall reply to all emails as best I can in the meantime, work on the new site will stop until I get my new laptop.
Work currently completed can be seen at http://www.generationbeta.co.uk/ffreborn, there isnt alot to look at yet, the base section of the site is still not yet completed.
